How the weekly promotion works, where the countdown comes from, and why the struck-through price is real.

A promotion runs from Monday to Sunday at 23:59 South African time. When it closes the price returns to the stated regular price, and it stays there until the next promotion opens.
The product genuinely sells at the regular price between promotions. That is what makes the struck-through figure a reference price rather than a misleading one under section 41 of the Consumer Protection Act.
The deadline is read from the promotion record on our server, never from the clock on your device. A wrong system time on your phone cannot desync the price you are quoted from the price you are charged.
When a promotion expires the bar and the countdown disappear rather than resetting to a fresh fake deadline.
Bundle prices are calculated on the server from the quantity in your cart, so the price you see is the price that is charged. Bundle discounts and promotion pricing are applied to the same line and do not stack into a negative total.
We may change or end a promotion at any time, but never retroactively. An order already placed is honoured at the price shown when it was placed.
